class=\"block-text list-style\">\n                    <p>What are incoterms?<\/p>\n<p>Incoterms are international trade terms and are an abbreviation for International Commercial Terms. Titles were first published in 1936 and are a set of 11 regulations that define who is responsible for what in international transactions. The latest update to the rules is Incoterms\u00ae 2020 and includes the Incoterms for 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The most common trade terms are EXW incoterms, CFR incoterms and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edslogistics.se\/en\/dap-incoterms\/\">DAP incoterms<\/a>. EDS has extensive experience with Incoterms, which describe who bears the risk during transport, who must pay the costs and what obligations the buyer and seller have. By following these terms, sellers and buyers can avoid unnecessary misunderstandings regarding the goods.<\/p>\n<p>The Incoterms 2020 regulations are the world&#8217;s most essential trade terms for the trade of goods. Regardless of whether you are a seller or a buyer, the Incoterms\u00ae rules are there to guide you through the trade. The regulations provide specific guidance to companies that participate in the import and export of global trade on a daily basis. There is no ready-made template for which delivery terms are right to use, as it depends on what the buyer and seller prioritize. Another area that is not covered is the marketing of goods and services. This is important to remember in the event of a breach of contract. The seller is responsible for the costs up to the agreed delivery location including loading on the first transport.
